Resolutions

Happy New Year!  I hope you have been enjoying the holiday!  I know I have been, although with kids out of school, I think I have been lacking on my responsibilities.  Don't I get a break, too?  Haha.

Anyway, I decided to make a little printable for my resolutions.  I had so much fun designing it that I also made one for my kids and husband (although I let them pick their own goals).

So, if you promise not to laugh or judge because of my goals, I'll give you a little peek at mine.

I'm excited to print a few out so I see them more often and am reminded of my goals.

Interested in having one created for yourself?  Leave me a comment.  If I get a good enough response I'll do a giveaway!!!

Hello Spring

The first day of spring is officially here--now if the weather would start cooperating.  Oh how I am looking forward to warm, spring weather.  I think it is getting close--at least I am hoping.  So, to help me feel spring-ish, I pulled out the spring decor.  I love the colors and brightness.  I LOVE SPRING!
That BLOOM sign was one of my first posts.  Check it out!
This banner/garland is a new favorite project.  I think I did it in, oh--about 5 minutes.  I grabbed some spring-colored scrapbook paper.  Used a drinking cup to trace and then cut out the circles.  Inked up the edges a bit.  Hung them on some ribbon with some tiny clothes pins.  Yay!
Happy Spring!

I {HEART} YOU

I am loving that I am actually getting some crafting done these days!  I guess now that Christmas is over I feel like I actually have time to do some crafts.  Hooray!
Here is a quick little Valentines Day craft.  All that is needed: Scrapbook paper & a sewing machine.
If you remember way back, I made these cute little cards.  Well, I decided to do the same thing only a little bigger--and then frame it without the glass.  Super easy.  I love the 3-D effect of having the different hearts folded out.
Oh, and to add a little something something, I stitched "love" down at the bottom with my sewing machine.  I like the detail (even if it's kind of hard to see on the dark paper).
Love.  Love.  Love.  Gotta Love it!

Mother's Day Cards

With Mother's Day coming up this Sunday, I thought I had better get some cards in the mail for my mom and for my Grandma.  I remembered a fun idea I first saw on Little Birdie Secrets.  Did you know you can Sew on PAPER?  Fun possibilities!
Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there! I hope you get spoiled on Sunday! (I know you deserve it)
